Locally rooted action for children and communities
Cameroon Development and Education Foundation (CADEF Cameroon) is a nonprofit organisation working to advance the rights, safety and opportunities of children, girls and women in Cameroon.
We work with communities and partners to address barriers to education, protection, health and wellbeing. Our approach connects community participation with practical programme support, humanitarian action and learning.
How we work
We listen to communities, work alongside local actors and build partnerships around shared priorities. Across our work, we seek to strengthen inclusion, accountability and the ability of communities to shape decisions that affect their lives.
Our programme framework brings together education and skills; child protection and safeguarding; gender equality and women’s empowerment; health, nutrition and WASH; climate action and livelihoods; and humanitarian action and community resilience.
