CADEF Cameroon’s My Body My Pride initiative provided menstrual hygiene education and practical support for adolescent girls in underserved communities in Limbe Municipality.

The initiative addresses gaps in menstrual health information and access to suitable products. Its aims are to support girls’ dignity, wellbeing and participation in education.
The activity record documents work in three communities: Dogyard, Middle-Farms and Limbe Camp.
Activities included interactive workshops, information sessions, demonstrations of pad use and distribution of menstrual hygiene kits. Group discussions created space for questions and practical learning.

Community-based sessions combined information with practical supplies. Follow-up feedback can help CADEF understand remaining barriers and improve future support.
