Limbe flood response: the work behind the story

August–October 2026 · Limbe, South West Region

Effective response begins before supplies reach communities. Assessment teams come together, partners coordinate and practical preparations support field action. This collection follows those connected steps through CADEF’s documented response archive.

3. Prepare the practical response

4. Support mobile-clinic services

Plan International Cameroon’s mobile-clinic team delivered healthcare in Bonjo and Dockyard, 25–28 August 2026. CADEF supported community access and mobilisation.

5. Complete the follow-up distribution

Relief distribution at CADEF’s office in Limbe. Education and dignity kits supported affected households as part of the response with Plan International Cameroon.

6. Results and learning

The completed Limbe flood response distributed 250 relief kits: 55 WASH kits, 45 dignity kits and 150 education kits. Distribution activities covered seven locations. Plan International Cameroon’s mobile-clinic team provided primary healthcare to 346 people, with CADEF supporting community mobilisation and access.
